Our history

• 70s, 80s, 90s - before CBP

  The history of CBP goes back to the history of its members. Since the 70's, the patriarch of the Koury family and his wife, helped consolidate in Brazil the then recent technology of polyurethane foam and opened their first factory, Sanko, in the 80's and Celuplás, in the 90's.

  

• 1995 - the company's embryo

  The embryo of CBP was from the union between the Koury, Maldonado, and later Bebber families. The union between technical and commercial strength brought to the company a new performance strategy, synergistic with the Industrial Foams and Mattresses divisions. The operation started in the warehouses of the old Celuplás plant, in Monte Mor/SP, KM 16.

  

• 2002

  CBP was founded in 2002, with the production of Industrial Foams and Mattresses, making Celuplás a brand in its portfolio

  

• 2003 - 2004

  Construction and Inauguration of the new headquarters in Monte Mor/SP, KM 21.

  

• 2005 - 2006

  CBP grows stronger in the mattress sector, with the partnership of the largest retail chains in the country, and becomes a reference.

  

• 2007 - 2008

  Consolidation as one of the main producers of mattresses and industrial foams in Brazil.

  

• 2007

  Acquisition of the Argentine Limansky branch in Bento Gonçalves/RS, becoming CBP Sul. Beginning of production of the Inducol brands and the American brand King Koil.

  

• 2008

  CBP wins ISO 9001 quality certification.

  

• 2009 - 2010

  The company is being expanded to become the largest Industrial Foam factory in the country in a single plant.

  

• 2010 - 2012

  CBP is a leading supplier of foam for the furniture industry.

  

• 2010 - 2012

  Expansion of CBP Sul, doubling the production capacity in Bento Gonçalves/RS.

  

• 2013

  Construction of the second plant in Monte Mor/SP.

  

• 2012 - 2013

  Accelerated growth of the company, investment in technology and expansion of the performance in industrial foams for the automobile, hygiene and cleaning, clothing, and other segments.

  

• 2014 - 2015

  New expansion of the company, with a 44 thousand m2 manufacturing park for the production of mattresses and industrial foams.

  

• 2014 - 2015

  CBP Sul as one of the main companies in the furniture pole in Bento Gonçalves.

  

• 2014 - 2015

  King Koil brand achieves worldwide presence in over 90 countries and CBP is considered to be one of the leading factories producing the brand.

  

• 2016

  The Inducol brand with Sabrina Sato as the poster girl is one of the best known and most comprehensive in the country. Expansion of the King Koil brand with the beginning of production also in Monte Mor/SP.

  

• 2017

  Consolidation of the Corporate Governance process, professionalizing the company's Executive Board and preparing for the future.
